This week we take a look at Walters.  There are two locations for this restaurant in Brooklyn, one in Fort Greene and one in Williamsburg.  Today we will focus on the Walters in Fort Greene.  If you haven't been here it is a must to go.  They have a delicious menu.  Fresh oysters, burgers, fried chicken, need I say more.  I have been multiple times and cannot wait to go again.

SWA Architecture are the architects and expediters for the interior renovation of this place.  We also obtained the place of assembly permits required.  Lastly, SWA Architecture also are the architects and expediters for the Landmark Applications needed for this spot.

That's it for this blog post.  Stay tuned later this week fora bonus post to come your way.  Again, if you haven't been to Walters, make your way over.  You won't be disappointed.  Give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to get a nice single portal view of all the projects we have previously written about.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome to a very special bonus post from the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Our last blog we gave you an update on Corepower Yoga.  A beautiful yoga studio that will be open soon.  This bonus post is going to give you an updated look at a beautiful new Blue Ribbon restaurant opening up very soon.

As we previously stated, this restaurant used to be a restaurant owned by the food network star Guy Fieri.  A huge 500-seat restaurant Guy's American Kitchen & Bar in Times Square.  It is not known why it closed down but the Ellen's Stardust/Iridium group are very happy to take over and make this beautiful restaurant you can see now.

Ellen's Stardust/Iridium group and Blue Ribbon have various restaurants in New York City that are all quite successful so this should be a must go when it opens very soon. It will also have a dance floor so a perfect spot for date night.

SWA Architecture is responsible for redesigning the space with an interior designer, and are also responsible for the filing for architecture and expediting.  This is the fourth spot SWA Architecture has done with this group.  It is so close to opening and beginning some soft openings now.  We will certainly check up on this spot once it is fully up and running.

That's it this week for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  We hope you enjoyed this bonus post and have a great weekend.  If you are bored this weekend follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture and see all the beautiful projects we have worked on!

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a special bonus post from the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  If you missed our last blog check it out, we did a deep dive into a new exclusive residential building on Delancey Street.

This bonus post is here to give an updated look at 4 St. Marks.  Famously known as the Hamilton House, constructed in 1833, it was due for a bit of an upgrade.  It was designated to a landmark building in 2004.  This is our fifth time looking at this place.  Last time we saw this place it was still in construction and had scaffolding blocking any view of the building.  As you can see from the photos, the building is in clear view and everything is almost finished.

SWA Architecture are the architects, designers, expediters and landmark applicants for this building.  We have two floors for retail, a rear addition, we inserted a new residential floor in the rear 6 (total apartments), a curved balcony at parlor level, and a complete restoration of the facade including brick work, stone work, windows, doors and slate roof.

Next time we take a look at this place it will be up and running.  We are very excited!  That's it for this weeks bonus post.  Stay tuned next week for some new and cool projects coming your way.  Don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the projects we have worked on.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The blog where we take a look at interesting projects SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Last week we took a look at McDonalds, one of our biggest clients.  This week we shift our focus to a beautiful building well on its way to being completed.

We are looking at a building located on 86 Delancey Street.  This will be a very exclusive residential building with fabulous views of the Williamsburg Bridge.  This building is a part of the new Delancey Street redevelopment all around this area that will transform the neighborhood completely.

SWA are the architects, expeditors and designers for this ground up multi use building.  More specifically, one of our top architects, Sergio Ali, was responsible for the design and architecture for this building.  Sergio has been with SWA from the beginning, 19 years, and this company would not run as smoothly and be as great as it is without him.  This is a repeat project for this client, we have done eight projects with them and hope to do more!

That's it for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  We hope you enjoyed looking at this project as we had putting it together.  Stay tuned for a possible bonus post coming later this week.  Also, don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have worked on.
