Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  Are you ready for another bonus post?  SWA is cranking out posts so you the audience can see all the wonderful projects we have been a part of.  However, for this bonus post we are going to give you a little bit of a different look.

This post will be taking a look at projects that SWA started, even created layouts and renderings for, but didn’t end up going ahead and finishing all the way.  All due to unforeseen circumstances.  We were the architects, planners, designers, zoning consultants and expeditors on all these projects.  However, we are proud of what we put together for these projects and want you to see some of the beautiful designs we are capable of at SWA Architecture.  Below are a bunch of renderings of said projects.  All of which were in New York City.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog Post

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog post where we take a look at projects throughout the tristate area that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Last week we put up two brilliant projects so if you haven’t seen those I would highly recommend going back and taking a look. 

This week we take a look at a project in upper Manhattan that is just getting started.  Attached are three different renderings of the same location showing the different possibilities this project could be.  Currently, this project is in the design concept phase.  Usually when we start a project with a client we give them multiple options until they fall on the design they love. 

This is a mixed-use building and is part of a rezoning development.  This is our fourth project with this client.  Not to toot our own horn, but a common theme you will see throughout all these blog posts is that it is usually with clients who have many projects with us.  Clients see how hard we work and that we always come through and always come back to us for more projects to work on.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog Post

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog post.   For those of you who are new to this blog, we take a look at projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  This post is a special bonus post this week, where we take a look at a new restaurant that is under construction at the moment. 

So as you can tell by the photos, this restaurant is a long way away from being open.  Let’s get a little background on this spot.  This is the old location of food network star Guy Fieri’s restaurant, the 500-seat monster, Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar in Times Square.  His restaurant was known as “American comfort food gone wild”.  It is unknown why he closed down this spot.  Most of the photos are of what his spot used to look like.  It is soon going to be knocked down and made completely new and beautiful.

When one door closes, another door opens.  At least that’s how the Ellen’s Stardust/Iridium group and the Blue Ribbon group look at this situation.  These groups have taken over this spot when it became available and are now making their own restaurant here, with a dance floor too.  This is the fourth project that SWA Architecture has been a part of with these groups. 

SWA Architecture is responsible for redesigning the space with an interior designer, and are also responsible for the filing for architecture and expediting.  We will keep you updated on thie project and be sure to let you know when this opens up.  These groups are responsible for The Ribbon restaurants found throughout the city so you know the food will be delicious.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog Post

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  If this is your first time taking a look at this blog what we do is take an in depth look at different projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of, mainly in the tri-state area.  This week we take a look at a spectacular music venue Sony Hall in the NYC Paramount Hotel. 

Located at 235 W 46^th, Sony Hall is a brand new concert hall from Blue Note Entertainment Group  Just to clarify, SWA Architecture is not the original architects or designers.  SWA is carefully and respectfully obtaining permits for this established space.  More specifically, SWA Architecture designed new layouts for the space, designed the front façade and were the expeditors of note.  The renderings shown above is of the facade.  Below are interior photos of the existing venue space.  What a beauty!  If you are In New York City, come check out which artists are playing in this beautiful music venue.
