SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  We took a week off to let you guys catch up on all the wonderful projects we have worked on and are back fresh to give you what you want.  This week we are going to show you a project that is just in the early stages.

The first couple of photos show you what is occupying the space now.  The next couple of photos shown are some of the things we are designing for this space.  This spot will be a new ground up mixed use residential/commercial building.  It is also being processed at New York City planning commission for a zoning modification.

SWA are responsible for the architects, designers, expeditors, zoning and code consultants and loft board consultants.  Safe to say we cover everything.  This is our first projects with this client and really enjoy working with them.  We hope to do more in the future.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  Stay tuned for another post coming your way later this week.  Also, don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all our projects and posts in a comprehensive list.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  This is a very special Friday rollin bonus post chiming your way giving you a fresh project. Check out our post from earlier this week if you missed it where we updated you on one of your biggest projects.

This week we take a look at a new project.  This is a multi-story building.  As you can tell it is not even started yet.  This is the beginning of the construction showing the footings and foundations of the building.  We will come back to this project once it has progressed.

SWA Architecture is responsible for architecture, planning, designers and expediters for this multistory building.  This is the 9th project we have done with these clients.  As you can see with these projects, there is a constant theme.  That Theme is that most of our projects are with clients who come back to us for even more work.  The ultimate sign we did a great job.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned until next week for some dynamite projects to come your way.  Also, don't forget to follow us on the gram - @swa_architecture to be able to see a comprehensive list of all the projects we have blogged about.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a fresh SWA Architecture post coming your way on this wonderful Tuesday.  For all you first timers we like to cover different projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  This week we check back in on one of our biggest projects to date.

I am of course talking about 86 Delancey in lower Manhattan.  Check out all these pictures.  This for sure will be one heck of a building when it is all said and done.  We are very happy with how it is coming along.  We last say this project in early June and can already see a substantial amount of progress.  This is the fifth time we have been this project and will be a part of the new Delancey Street Redevelopment.

This is our eighth project with this client.  As we have said before, the most validating sign that we have done a good job on a project is when they come back to us again.  Safe to say, we've done good work for this client.  SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture, expediting and design for this ground up multi use building.  We always like to highlight that one of our architects, Sergio Ali, under saw everything for this project.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned for a very cool bonus post coming your way later this week.  Also, as we always like to remind you, follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all our projects that we blogged about in one portal.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Today we come with a very special bonus post to check in on a project nearing being ready for the world.  For those of you who missed our post earlier this week go check it out when you're done with this one.

As we previously wrote, we are updating you on a project with this post, located at 12 w 19th Street.  This is our third time coming here.  This project is focusing on restoring a historical building in the "Ladies Mile" district.  The "Ladies Mile" was a prime shopping district in Manhattan at the end of the 19th century, serving well to do 'carriage trade' of the city.  It extends from roughly 15th street to 24th street and from Park Avenue South to West of 6th Avenue.

SWA Architecture are the architects, interior designers, expediters and landmarks architects and expediters for this historical building.  As you can tell by the photos we have made significant progress with filling in the hole in the back with concrete.  With this being our third project in the "Ladies Mile" we hope to have more.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week for some great projects to come your way.  Also, don't forget to give us a follow on instagram to see all the wonderful projects we have worked on - @swa_architecture.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a fresh SWA Architecture blog coming your way.  We took a week off for July 4th but are coming back with some beautiful projects.  For all of you who are new to this blog we like to cover different projects that SWA Architecture has worked on.  We tell you a little about the project and then let you know what SWA Architecture did to bring it to life.

This week we are updating you on a project we last looked at on April 25th.  Take a look back and see the wonderful progression we have made to date.  These spaces will be retail spaces and apartments.  These were originally designed by a very famous architecture company, Mckim, Mead and White.  A prominent architecture firm during the 20th century, this firm designed many grand structures all over.  As we previously pointed out, Bob Dylan at one point lived here.

SWA Architecture are the architects, designers and landmark architects for all the apartment and the retail spaces.  We will certainly come back here again to show the space even farther along.  We have to state that we love working with wonderful client and hope to do so again.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned for a bonus post coming your way later this week.  We will be returning to a project that has made significant strides towards being completed.  Also, don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the projects we have blogged about.
