SWA Architecture Weekly Blog Post

Hello and welcome back to this week’s SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  This week we are taking a look at something different then weeks past.  Start getting your zen on, as this week we are taking a deep dive into a yoga studio.  That’s right, get your lululemon outfits ready, we are going to check out the yoga studio properly named the Lyons Den.

Located at 279 Church St, the yoga studio is run by a lovely couple who are happily married.  This dynamic duo has since opened another location in Manhattan, so you know they must be doing alright.

SWA Architects are the planners, interior designers and expediters for this beautiful yoga studio.  More specifically, we expanded their owner’s space to two floors from their existing floor.  We also applied for special permits for this successful location as well as obtaining landmarks approvals.  Last but certainly not least, SWA is also the architect for the entire building that this studio is in.

That’s it for this week’s SWA Architecture blog post.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.  Be sure to stop by to really channel your inner chi.  If you haven’t checked out our Instagram already be sure to check it out - @swa_architecture

SWA Architecture Bonus Post

Hello and welcome to a bonus post from SWA Architecture.  You read that right, a bonus post where we will take a look at yet another project SWA has worked on.  This week we take a look at an exquisite penthouse.

This is an SWA Architecture design and permitting project.  Attached are some photos and renderings of this beautiful projects.  This project is also one of the original loft buildings in New York City.  In fact, our client was one of the pioneers in enacting the loft law now practiced in New York City.

SWA Architecture designed a roof access stair and penthouse for this spot.  We also modified the interior space of the loft.  On a side note, our fondest memory of this project is our client's dog who has since passed, her name was Stella.  She will always be in our hearts.

That's it for this exclusive bonus post.  I hope you enjoyed it.  Take a follow on instagram if you haven't already - @swa_architecture

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog Post

Hello and welcome back to the one and only SWA Architecture weekly blog post where we take an inside look at different projects around the tri-state are that SWA Architecture has been fortunately a part of.  This week we are revisiting a spot we took a deep dive into a couple months back.  I am of course talking about Grand Ole Opry.

Last time we took a look at this join it still had a ways to go, under some serious construction.  Now, as you can see by the photos, it is mere weeks away from its grand opening.  Once it is on to the public you won't want to miss out.  They're going to have famous country singers from all over the great nation of ours come in and sing the night away.

SWA Architecture alongside Nathanson design were able to put together quite an astonishing place.  It is the 5th time SWA Architecture and Nathanson design have collaborated.  Just a quick refresher, this place is a multi story venue with a stage and live performances.  On the upper  floor is a separate club/lounge.

If the ambiance isn't enough for you, which I'm sure it will, come for the food.  This is another restaurant from the world renowned chef's - the Bromberg Brothers. Known for their Blue Ribbon restaurants all around the world.  I know I can't wait for this place to open up.  That's it this week for SWA Architecture's weekly blog post.  If you don't follow us on instagram go check us out - @swa_architecture
