Bonus Post

Hello and welcome back with a bonus post.  SWA Architecture is enamored with this location and couldn't wait to show you.   We are again looking at a day care center located uptown in Manhattan.  Below you will see some before and under construction photos.  Don't worry it get's better.

So what did we do with this one?  Like the previous day care center we posted about, SWA Architecture were the architects, interior designers and expeditors for this lavish space.  See the photos below.

The space was at one time home for a local synagogue.  Our client was the Japanese Children's Society and had outgrown their previous locations.  SWA went to this project and created multiple rooms which are able to be combined into a larger room.   This allows for play recitals and to create a large play area.

Last but certainly not least, SWA Architecture designed an outdoor play space for the children to enjoy the hot summer.  That is all we have this week, I hope you enjoyed looking at these day care centers as much as I did.  Stay tuned for next week!

Top Weekly Project from SWA Architecture

Hello and welcome back to the weekly blog post from SWA Architecture where we take an in-depth look at projects that SWA Architecture has worked on.  This week we take a look at one of our first day care centers that SWA has ever been a part of.

Located uptown in Manhattan, SWA were the architects, interior designers, and expediters for this children's day care facility.  Talk about a triple threat!  This is our second day care facility to date.

So here is what we did.  We took an existing office space and redesigned it to accommodate 45 children in a very friendly and secure environment.  Needless to say as you can see it came out wonderfully.  The interior is very uplifting to say the least.

SWA also obtained all the New York City Department of Health approvals.  Thats all for this location.  Stay tuned for a bonus post with yet another day care center!

Hello and welcome back to this weeks SWA Architecture top weekly blog post.  If this is your first time reading this blog, this is a weekly blog post for SWA Architecture where we take a look at different projects that SWA Architecture has worked on.  This week will be no different where we take a look at a building in SOHO.

Above you can see a before picture of this Landmarks building.  As you can see, it had a deli that was anything but landmarked.  SWA restored the ground floor to it's original front as you can see in the pictures below.  SWA got NYC Landmark Preservation approvals and NYC Department of Buildings approvals.

The neighborhood has many high end boutiques such as the ones shown today.  That's all from SWA Architecture this week.  Stay tuned next week for more exciting projects to come!

Top Weekly Projects from SWA Architecture

Hello and welcome back to the weekly blog posts from SWA Architecture.  We are proud to show you this week's selected project, Arby's.  That's right, this week we're all thinking Arby's.  One of our most esteemed clients we're proud to show this project.

This project shown throughout the post is located in Manhattan near Madison Park, a busy part of the city.  We have pictures of the project before SWA Architecture got involved and after we did.  SWA were the architects and expediters.  This is Arby's second location in Manhattan.  SWA has converted two stores in Arby's and added a mezzanine in the rear of this project to increase the seating capacity.

Well thats all for this week.  I am most certainly thinking Arby's and may have to stop by one today.  Stay tuned for more posts to come!
