SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome to a very special bonus post coming your way from SWA Architecture.  For all you first timers what we like to do here is show you different unique projects SWA Architecture has been a part of, and we have been part of a lot! Earlier this week we looked at a French daycare center way uptown in New York City.

This week we take you to a totally different project.  As you can tell by the photos, we are covering a UFC gym.  For those of you unfamiliar with UFC, it is a mixed martial arts style of fighting.  Located at 277 Canal Street, this is the spot to work up a big sweat and get in some great shape!

We were hired to legalize obtain approvals for the exterior signage and for the place of assembly of the gym.  We are the architects, expediters and landmark architect and expediters for this location.  This is our first project with a UFC gym and hope to do many more.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week for some great projects to come your way as always.  Also, don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have written about.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The one and only architecture blog that takes you into all the wonderful projects we have been a part of.  Last week we updated you on a big skyscraper located at 86 Delancey.  This week we update you on a project we last looked at in early April.

As you can tell by the photos, we are returning to Petits Poussins Too, located at 2235 Frederick Douglas Blvd.  This is a bilingual daycare/pre-school that welcomes students three months to six years old.  They provide bilingual classes that are inspired by the French national curriculum as well as New York standards.  A very unique approach that will surely pay dividends for the kids.

Last time we went over how this is an expansion of an already existing daycare center.  In addition, last time the construction was in the middle of construction.  This time it is all complete!  It came out better than we could've expected.  SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture, interior design expediting and were the health department liaisons for the expansion.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned for another post to come your way later this week.  Also, as always give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have worked on.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog!  The architecture blog that is unlike any other blog you will find on the internet.  For you first timers, this blog's purpose is to show you the wonderful projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Who is SWA Architecture you ask? We are a mid size architecture firm located in Manhattan.  Most restaurants and sidewalk cafes that you see in New York City are courtesy of SWA Architecture, and we do a lot of other projects as well!

Today we are updating you on a project you should be pretty familiar with by now.  I am speaking of the building located at 86 Delancey.  As you can tell by the photos it is coming along and turning into a beautiful skyscraper.  We decided to give you more shots of the building and also give you a taste of what the views will be like from here as well.

As we have previously stated, this is our eight project with this client.  SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture, expediting and design for this ground up multi use building.  This should be open to public in the upcoming months.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  If this is your first time with us what took you so long?  We have a ton of posts and you can also follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the projects we have worked on in one spot!

This week we are returning to a project that we last saw in March 2018!  When we posted about it the project was still in its design phase.  We provided the same renderings you see here.  Well, ladies and gentleman, today the new pictures of this site show you that we are kicking off construction to this project.

This building will be for commercial use on the first floor, with apartments above for twenty-two stories and a rooftop terrace.  This will most certainly be one of our most beautiful buildings to date.  We will continue to visit this site as it gets underway.

This is our fourth project with this client.  We also worked in this client for the Hamilton House.  That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week for some great projects to come your way.
