SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  This is a very exciting Friday rolling bonus post coming your way.  Earlier this week we took a look at our biggest client McDonalds.  More specifically a location in Philadelphia.  SWA Architecture has grown its each from New York City to most of the east coast all the way down to Virginia.

This post we are going to be focusing on a restoration of a historical building located in the heart of the "Ladies' Mile Historic District".  The "Ladies Mile" was a prime shopping district in Manhattan at the end of the 19th century, serving well to do "carriage trade" of the city.  It extends from roughly 15th street to 24th street and from Park Avenue South to west of 6th Avenue for all you Manhattan insiders.

SWA Architecture are the architects, interior designers, expediters and landmarks architects and expediters for this historical building.  As you can see from the photos this project has a long way to go but we will update you as it gets further along.

This is our first job with this client and hope to do more with them.  This is our sixth project with Streamline Worldwide General Contracters.  We have a great relationship with this contracting company.  Lastly, this is our third project in the "Ladies Mile Historic District" and we are very proud of all of them.

That's it this week for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.  To get a sense of all the projects we post about, follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture and see all of our posts.  Stay tuned next week for some beautiful projects to come your way.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The blog where we take a look at the most interesting and unique projects from SWA Architecture.  We show you what the project is and what SWA Architecture did.

For those of you who are new to this blog, SWA Architecture is an architecture company headquartered in New York.  However, we do projects in the greater Northeast area of the United States of America.  Our biggest client to date is McDonalds.  We do project of theirs all over the east coast.

Today we are going to show you a project we have done in Philadelphia.  This project is located at 727 Souderton road.  As you can see from the photos the rebuild came out fantastic.  Not only did we engage in the expediting for this project but we also are responsible for the architecture.  Again we have over 700 locations for McDonalds so it wouldn't be a stretch to call us experts on them.

That's it for this SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  Stay tuned for a bonus post coming your way later this week.  Also, please remember to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the projects we have worked on and shared.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a very special Friday rolling bonus post from the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The blog where we take a bold look into all different projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Sometimes we update you on projects that are still on its way to being completed and that is what we will cover today!

A month ago we took at look at a building located at 86 Delancey Street in Manhattan.  If you haven't seen that post check it out and you will see with this post how far it has come along.  When completed this will be a very exclusive residential building with resplendent views of the Williamsburg Bridge and Brooklyn.  This building is one of many things being redone for the new Delancey Street Redevelopment.

SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture, expediting and design for this ground up multi use building.  Last time we mentioned this but it is worth repeating, one of our head Architects, Sergio Ali, really undersea ever facet of this project.  Without him, it simply would not be going as well or be as beautiful as it is.  Also, this is a repeat project for this client, our eighth project to date!

That's it for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week for some great projects coming your way.  We hope you enjoyed this week as much as we did.  Give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the beautiful projects we have been a part of.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  If this is your first time to this blog here is a brief rundown of what we like to do.  We take a look at various different projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Last week we took two different projects, Empire Gyro and Petits Poussins Too.  Empire Gyro is an eatery soon to be opened and Petits Poussins Too is a day care center.  We really do cover it all.

This week we are showing the newly opened 1 story commercial space located at 214 Berry Street.  In the heart of Williamsburg, this project has one of the more imaginative exteriors you will see around.  We not only attached an exterior photograph of this spot but also attached a rendering and drawings; taking you behind the curtain.

This client was referred to us by another client that we have a long standing relationship with.  We love this because it illustrates how we do most of our business, through referral.  It is a true sign to us that our work is appreciated and we can't wait to get more referrals for more projects.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned for a bonus post coming your way with a look at one of our favorite projects we work on.  Don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have worked on.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  This is a special bonus post from the SWA Architecture blog where we take a look at all the interesting and unique projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Earlier this week we took a look at the soon to be open Empire Gyro.  This week we look ate the daycare center Petits Poussins Too for our bonus post.

Located at 2235 Frederick Douglas Blvd., Petits Poussins Too is a bilingual daycare/pre-school that welcomes students three-months to five years old.  They provide bilingual classes that are inspired by the French national curriculum as well as New York standards.  A very unique approach that will surely pay dividends for the kids.

The photos illustrate that we are overseeing an expansion to this wonderful daycare center.  Previously, we were the architects, interior designers, expediters and health department liaisons for the entire space.  That was the first time we worked with this client.  The daycare has done so well that we got the call for an expansion of this space.  Again we were the architects, interior designers, expediters and health department liaisons for the expansion.  Nothing makes us feel better when a client calls us for another project.  A nice way to know we have done a good job.

Well that's it for this week's special bonus post from SWA Architecture.  We hope you enjoyed this week's posts as much as we enjoyed sharing them with you.  Don't forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have done

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to an all new fresh SWA Architecture blog coming your way.  For all you first timers to this blog we like to cover the fantastic projects that SWA Architecture has worked on.  We give you a little insight into what SWA Architecture was responsible for and show you what the project actually is.  This week is no different as we explore the soon to be open eatery, Empire Gyro.

This new fast food Mediterranean spot, which takes over this space previously occupied by Sugar Cafe, is located at 200 Allen Street in Manhattan.  This will be a 24-hour eatery featuring items such as soups, salads, kebabs and shawarma.  Certainly a great place to go after a night out with friends.  This 500 - square foot space will be ready for your eating needs very shortly.  We will inform you when it does.

SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture and expediting for the enclosed sidewalk cafe you can see in these beautiful photos.  SWA Architecture has done over 1,000 sidewalk cafes.  That is not a typo, we have done over 1,000 cafes making as easily the most trusted architects in New York City when it comes to sidewalk cafes.  We are very proud of the work we have done.
