SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to an all new fresh SWA Architecture blog coming your way.  For all you first timers lets give a brief recap on what we like to cover here.  What we like to do is show projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  When a project starts we usually don't just show you it once but take you through the full progression from drawing phase to completion.

This week we are updating you on a project, 86 Delancey.  As you can tell by the photos this skyscraper is just about ready to be completed.  Hopefully the next time we come to this location it will be up and running.  We have shown a complete progression of this project on previous posts so go check them out!

This is our eighth project and one of our biggest projects to date.  SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture, expediting and design for this ground up multi use building.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned for a possible bonus post to come your way later this week.  Also, give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have been a part of.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to an all new fresh SWA Architecture friday rolling blog coming your way.  The blog where we take a look at all the wonderful projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  This week we are going to update you on a project we last looked at in early December.

As you can tell by the pictures this project is still under construction.  If you take a look at the post in early December you will see significant progress has been made.  This space is being made into an interactive theatre by the tenant, Particle Ink.  Particle Ink is an immersive mixed reality experience like no other.  As the tenant they will connect this space in a theatre.  The Theatre will be located at 771 9th ave, but in reality this is two buildings connected at the rear.  one located on 9th avenue and one located at 52nd street.

SWA Architecture are the architects, interior designers, designers, co-consultants and expediters for the owner.  This our second project with this client.  the first one was a building they own at 1650 broadway.  This is being designed with the Particle Ink design and production team.  In addition, SWA designed two apartments on the top floor of the 52nd street building.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week for some great projects to come your way.  As always, take a look at our instagram - @SWA_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have already blogged about!

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to an all new fresh SWA Architecture blog coming your way on this cold Tuesday in New York.  As always, let's go over what it is we actually do here.  This blog's main focus is to show you all the interesting and unique projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Our projects range from skyscrapers to boutique hotels to sidewalk cafes.  You name it, we probably have done it.  Last week we covered work we are doing on a new Buy Buy Baby store.  If you haven't seen it check it out.

This week, we are excited to show you the Lowell Hotel, a landmark luxury hotel, near central park.  The Lowell rises 17-floors above an iconic residential neighborhood, a stone's throw from the celebrated fashion houses of Madison Avenue and footsteps from Fifth Avenue and the vast oasis of Central Park.  The attention to detail and sophistication in this luxury hotel allows guests to feel at home while enjoying the spectacle of grandeur.  This is one of our most prestigious projects to date, as you can tell by the photos.

SWA Architecture are responsible for the architecture, design, expediting  and landmarks architects for the restaurant, the lobby and the rooftop.  This is our fifth project with this client. As always, our biggest sign of doing good work is when we work with a client again.  Clearly, we've done a good job.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week when we take a look at some of the best spots in New York City that we have done.  As always, follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture to see a comprehensive list of all the projects we have worked on!

SWA Architecture are the architects, landmark preservation architects and expediters for Buy Buy Baby.  This is our first time with this client and hope to do many more projects.  We were referred to this project by a big time general contractor.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to an all new fresh SWA Architecture blog coming your way!  Happy new year to you all and we want to welcome you into this new year with a wonderful project!  For all you first timers who decided 2020 is the time to start reading this blog what we like to do is look at projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of in the greater northeast area of the United States.  Most project are in New York City but we do venture out of the city from time to time.

This project is a zoning study for a new ground up development site.  A zoning study is a basic analysis of what can be built to on a property to its maximum size and use.  SWA performs these studies routinely and often when a client is looking at a new development site.

SWA Architecture not only did the zoning study but are responsible for the architecture, design and expediting, should this project move past the zoning study.  We have worked with this specific client several times before.  As always, the biggest compliment we get from our clients is when they use us for another project!

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture Weekly Blog.  Stay tuned next week for some wonderful projects to come your way in 2020!  Also, give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have!
