Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog
post. This blog primarily takes a look
into projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of. This week we are going to take a look at what
made SWA Architecture what it is today, the sidewalk cafes. We'll take a little trip around New York City to take a look at some sidewalk cafes SWA Architecture has been a part of.
SWA Architecture has been a part of over 700 sidewalk cafes
coming to life in New York City. That is
not a typo, we have really don’t over 700.
Above you can see a picture of Brick Café on a beautiful summer
day. Located in Astoria at 30-95 33rd
Street, Brick Café should be a destination of interested if you’re ever in
Astoria.
Next we take a look at Bistro ten 18 located at 1018
Amsterdam Avenue. If you are looking for
a casual bistro that pleases locals with solid pastas, salads, steaks, burgers
& cocktails.
Let’s take a trip south to Brooklyn and take a look at
another spot with a beautiful sidewalk café, Brooklyn Heights Wine Bar &
Kitchen. You can find this gem at 50
Henry Street in Brooklyn. If you go get
ready for a diverse by the glass & bottle list that compliments a beautiful
American menu at this low-key spot.
For our last joint let’s take a turn back into Manhattan to
visit Fatbird Southern Kitchen & Bar.
With celeb Chef Cat Cora, you will find various upscale renditions of
Southern favorites & mason-jar cocktails.
At 44 9th Avenue, this is a can’t miss spot.
SWA Architecture does a lot of unique and different
projects, but the projects we most frequently are involved with are sidewalk
cafes. Pick a restaurant in New York
City with a sidewalk café, we probably are the Architect and expeditor of
note. That’s it this week for the SWA Architecture Weekly blog
post, give us a follow on Instagram - @swa_architecture where we have many
beautiful pictures.
