SWA Architecture Weekly Blog Post

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  For all of you who are new to this blog here we take a look at all different projects that SWA Architecture has worked on.  Last week we took at a bunch of projects that didn’t go to completion, this week we take a look at two houses that came out beautiful.

The first house we are taking a look at is located in Lawrence, Long Island.  This is a vacation house for one of our clients.  If my vacation house looked like that, I would go on a lot of vacations.  SWA was the architects, designers and expediters of this breathtaking house.

Next, we take a look at a house in Point Lookout.  This was designed for Steve Wygoda’s former student at NYU, where Steve taught as an associate adjunct professor for 15 years.  Steve Wygoda is the President and Founder of SWA Architecture.  So yeah, he’s kind of a big deal.  Back to the project.  What makes this house special and unique is that this is a “upside-down house”.  Meaning that the living room is on the top floor, maximizing the views.  Pretty spectacular.  SWA Architecture did the works and were the architects, designers and expediters.

When SWA Architecture is a part of making a house, we really bring care and creativity to maximize the space we are working on.  That’s it this week for the SWA Architecture weekly blog post.  We are undergoing a website renovation so be on the lookout for that, and again, if you don’t follow us on Instagram take a look - -@swa_architecture
