SWA Architeture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a very special bonus post coming your way on this beautiful Thursday.  For all of you who are just joining this weekly blog let us tell you what it is all about.  We are a part of SWA Architecture, an architecture firm based out of New York City that has projects ranging from hotels to sidewalk cafes all over the greater Northeast.  Each blog post shows you an individual project we have worked on.  Not only that we show you what the project is and what we did to help make it so beautiful.  So without further ado, let's take a look at this weeks project.

We are going back to a project that we previously wrote about.  I am speaking of Bourbon Street Bar & Grill Restaurant located in the theatre district in Manhattan.  This converted townhouse is a beautiful place for you to grab food and drink before a show, or just to hang out with you buddies after a hard days work.

SWA Architecture were the architects, planners, designers and expediters for the original conception of the restaurant over ten years ago.  Recently, and why we are blogging about this project again, is that we were asked to modify the structure over the rear roof terrace.  Which you can see above with the glass ceiling.  We have worked with this client over five times and can't wait to do more.

That's it this week for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.  Let's not forget to give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to really get a feel for all the projects we have worked on.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The blog like no other where we look at projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  From big to small, complex to simple, SWA Architecture covers it all.

This week we take a look at a new bar/restaurant with a sidewalk cafe in lower manhattan.  As you can tell it is just beginning its process to becoming the beautiful spot it will be.  This previously was a club called Haus.  We actually were a part of that project and blogged about it a couple years ago for anyone who would like to see what it used to look like.

SWA Architecture are the architects, planners and expediters for this project.  This is our second time working with these clients.  As we always say on this blog, our biggest affirmation that we are doing a great job is when a client decides to use us again.

That's it for this weeks SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned for a bonus post coming your way later this week.  Also, as per usual don't forget to follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have worked on.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a very special weekend edition of the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The blog that takes you behind the curtain of all the wonderful projects SWA has been a part of.  This Sunday edition we give you a quick update on a project we looked at about a month and a half ago in late January.

This project is a kitchen design showroom located at 28 Bond Street that we showed you on January 23rd.  We worked with Devol to make the kitchen in progress you now see in the pictures. Take a look at that blog post to get a sense of how fast the progress has been on this project.  Devol is a world-renowned design led furniture manufacturer for 25 years.

SWA Architecture are the architects, planners and expediters at the Department of Buildings.  SWA Architecture are also the architects for the Landmarks Preservation Commission approvals.  We are very happy with the progress of this project and hope we work with these great clients again.

That’s it for this special Sunday edition of the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Take a look at our previous post or any other posts easily through our Instagram account - @swa_architecture where we really have some fine projects up.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to another SWA Architecture weekly blog.  The blog like no other where we give you the inside look into architecture projects that no other blog can provide.  If you didn't catch last week we looked at a building with a Regal Cinema in midtown manhattan.

This week we are taking a look at a building way uptown in New York City.  These are retail spaces and apartments.  These were originally designed by a very famous architecture company, Mckim, Mead and White.  A prominent architecture firm during the 20th century, this firm designed many grand structures all over.  In fact, Bob Dylan at one point lived here.  Not too shabby.

SWA Architecture are the architects, designers and Landmarks architects for all the apartment and the retail spaces.   We will visit this space again once it is further along We love working with this client and hope to do so again in the near future.

That's it from this week's SWA Architecture weekly blog.  We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.  Don't forget to follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all our projects.  Stay tuned for a bonus post to come you way this week that will surely be a beauty.
