SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a fresh Friday rolling SWA Architecture blog coming your way ahead of the labor day weekend.  For all you first timers this blog covers a variety of projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  We are headquartered in Manhattan and most of our projects are in New York City.

This week we are looking at Orwashers Bakery.  We are focusing on the location at 440 Amsterdam Avenue in the Upper West Side.  They have three locations, so check them all out.  Orwashers Bakery has been serving New York City neighbors sine 1916.  They sell at farmers markets and are known for their quality ingredients and breads.

SWA Architecture are the architects, designers, expediters, landmarks consultants and architects for the sidewalk cafe.  We love working with this client and know we will work together again someday. If your are looking for some great artisan bread Orwashers is the place to go.

That's it for this week's special Friday rolling SWA Architecture blog.  Have a fantastic labor day weekend and stay tuned for some great posts coming your way next week!  Also, give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all of our projects in one portal.

In addition to color factory where we were architects and designers, these other spaces we coordinated for building code and expediting purposes.  We are very proud of not just the Color Factory but all the other spaces we helped get started.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to another SWA Architecture weekly blog coming your way on this beautiful Tuesday.  For those of you new to this blog we like to cover projects mainly in New York City that SWA Architecture has been a part of.  Last week we covered two wonderful projects so once you are done with this post take a look at those.

This week we are taking a look at the Bronx Ale House.  Located at 216 W 238th Street, this spot is a can't miss in the Bronx.  Bronx Ale House can best be described as a casual saloon that serves burgers, wings and hearty sandwiches, washed down with a selection of craft beers.  If you are in that area, that is the place to go!  Follow them on instagram - @bronxalehouse to see even more of their spot.

SWA Architecture are responsible for the architecture, design and expediting for this spot.  We also did their unenclosed sidewalk cafe.  This is out fourth time working with this client, with spots in Manhattan, Queens and all over.  Like we have said previously, the sign that we are doing our job to the best of our ability is when a client comes back for another project.  Safe to say we have done really well with this client!

Stay tuned for another post to come your way later this week.  We hope you enjoyed this post as much as we did.  Give us a follow on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all the projects we have been lucky enough to be a part of!

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome to a very special bonus post from SWA Architecture coming your way on this beautiful Thursday.  Earlier this week we took a look at a landmarked building being redone.  This post will update you on a very special project we are working on.

We last saw this project in mid April.  Go back to see what it looked like then compared to now.  It'll astonish you how far it has come.  Last time, it was in the early part of construction phase.  Now it really is starting to come together and look beautiful!

As you can tell by the photographs this bar/lounge will have an outdoor sidewalk cafe and will a primetime spot located at 285 W Broadway.  SWA Architecture are the architects, planners and expeditors for this project.  We previously worked on this same spot for a different client, Haus, but it has changed hand and we were recommended for this reimagining of the space.

That's it this week for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week where we are going to change things up a bit and bring you some fresh content!  You should be excited!  Also, don't forget to follow us on the gram - @swa_architecture to see all the wonderful projects we have done.

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  If this is your first time with us we are very happy you have joined us.  What we like to do is show projects that SWA Architecture has worked on in the greater Northeast area.  SWA Architecture is a mid size firm based in Manhattan.

This week we are updating you on a project we last looked at in April 25th.  Take a look back to see  the progress we have made to this point.  We have come to this spot multiple times to give you a true sense of how a project progresses.  These spaces will be retail spaces and apartments.  These were originally designed by a very famous architecture company, McKim, Mead and White.  A prominent architecture firm during the 20th century, this firm designed many grand structures all over.  As we previously pointed out, Bob Dylan at one point lived here.

SWA Architecture are the architects, designers and landmark architects for all the apartment and the retail spaces.  We will certainly come back here again to show the space even farther along.  We have to state that we love working with this wonderful client and hope to do so again.

That's it for this SWA Architecture blog post.  Stay tuned for another post coming your way later this week.  Follow us on instagram - @swa_architecture to see all our unique projects.  Our page is growing daily and you won't want to come too late!

SWA Architecture Weekly Blog

Hello and welcome back to a very special Friday rollin' blog coming your way from SWA Architecture.  If you didn't see our last post I highly recommend going to check it out.  We changed it up a bit and showed you something pretty unique.  This post we are going to update you on a project that is just a month or two away from opening up!

If you haven't seen our previous posts on this project, locate dat 86 Delancey, then go ahead and check it out because it will really give you a sense of how this project has been coming together.  We last saw this in July and will surely be coming back in September.  As you can tell by the photos it'll be one heck of a New York primetime spot.

As we have previously stated, this is our eighth project with this client.  We hope to do more projects and we get along so well with them it is more then likely we will.  SWA Architecture is responsible for the architecture, expediting and design for this ground up multi use building.  We always like to highlight that one of our senior architects, Sergio Ali, under saw everything for this project.

That's it this week for the SWA Architecture weekly blog.  Stay tuned next week for some great projects to come your way.  Also, don't forget to give us a follow on the gram - @swa_architecture to see a comprehensive list of all the projects we have worked on.
