Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog, Thanksgiving edition.  For all you first timers to this weekly blog here is a little breakdown of what we do.  We look into architectural projects that SWA Architecture has been a part of in the greater Northeast are of the United States.  SWA Architecture main office is located in Manhattan, with another office in Long Island.  We do various projects ranging from hotels, to building, to restaurants, to pretty much any kind of structure under the sun.

Last week we took a deep dive into a project still in the design phase.  This week we take a look at another project that is in the design phase.  This project is located in upper Manhattan and as you can tell by the first rendering this will be a beauty.  Below are pictures of what the project was before, not what it will be as can be seen in the rendering above.

SWA Architecture are the architects, planners, designers, zoning and code experts for this projects.  This is a rezoning of an existing two story building to be a whopping fourteen story multi use building.  This is the third project with this client.  Another project we have done with them is 4 St Marks.  You can go to previous posts to see that project from its inception to now.  These pictures below are the project getting ready for construction.
