Hello and welcome back to the SWA Architecture weekly blog. The blog where we take an inside view of different projects that SWA has been a part of. Last week we did a beautiful look at a bunch of sidewalk cafes that SWA has helped in making. This week we go back to the famous Lusardi Brothers and another beautiful restaurant they run. Take a look at the previous weeks of this month to really get a sense of who these men are.
This week we take a look at their restaurant Uva. This upper east side gem is located at 1486 2nd Ave, between 77th and 78th street. It has been a New York City favorite since it opened in 2005. Uva ranks as on of the city's most-loved wine bar restaurants. The vibe is rustic and relaxed, with diners spread out between the main rooms, the private cellar and the year round backyard patio.
Uva's menu, which ranges from small, tapas-style plates to classic and updates entrees, is perfectly complemented by an extensive wine list, as well as a full bar offering specialty cocktails. Uva's comfortable atmosphere and authentic fare are just right for any occasion, whether you're in the mood for a leisurely apertivo, a late night digestivo with a snack, a cozy dinner, or an Italian country-styled brunch. In other words, if you haven't been here yet, what is stopping you?
